Graphic designers, wayfinding specialists, marketers and industrial designers worked in concert to address the Montreal Science Centre's lack of visibility for its exterior retail shop and service offer.
The team's solution was to create a family of quirky, oversized pictograms the curious red giants that anchor the exterior wayfinding strategy. These elements demonstrate the sheer scale of the location and create vivid markers that invite visitors to explore the entire length of the pier. The integrated branding and signage concept combines functional signage, and event-driven and seasonal elements to enhance the Centre's visibility and commercial profile.
